1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the DebugDuo website (debugduo.co.za), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services
DebugDuo provides custom software development services including but not limited to:
- Web application development
- Enterprise solutions
- MVP development
- API development
- Software consulting
Specific services, timelines, and deliverables will be outlined in individual project proposals and contracts.
3. Project Engagement
Proposals and Quotes
All project proposals and quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. We reserve the right to modify pricing and scope after this period.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be specified in individual project contracts. Generally:
- A deposit is required before work begins
- Milestone payments are due upon completion of agreed phases
- Final payment is due before project handover
Project Changes
Changes to project scope, timeline, or deliverables must be agreed upon in writing by both parties and may result in adjusted pricing.
4. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, all custom code and deliverables created specifically for your project will be transferred to you. We retain the right to use:
- General methodologies and techniques
- Code libraries and frameworks we've developed
- Project details in our portfolio (with your permission)
5. Confidentiality
We agree to maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary information shared during the course of our engagement. We are happy to sign NDAs before discussing sensitive project details.
6. Warranties and Support
Bug-Fix Guarantee
All projects include a 30-day bug-fix guarantee after launch. This covers defects in the originally specified functionality.
Limitation of Warranty
Our services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, except as explicitly stated in project contracts. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Limitation of Liability
DebugDuo's liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for those services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate a project engagement with written notice. In the event of termination:
- All completed work will be delivered
- Payment for completed work is due
- Deposits are non-refundable
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Johannesburg, South Africa.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
